Tell me about Dena, she seems like a badass.

She is! Dena’s unconventional expression makes her a great hit at parties and sometimes funerals.  She studied creative writing at the Universities of Minnesota and Toronto and has experience at both the small business and corporate levels. She’s thrilled to be alive during a time in human history when eating avocados is socially acceptable. Like all adventurers, Dena is bad with maps but good with treasure.

Tell me about that fresh to death pink lamb on the header.

The pink lamb lives on the wall of The Hive Salon in NE Minneapolis. It is the work of Twin Cities based artistic collaboration Broken Crow, famous for their use of large-scale stencils and giant, colorful animals. Their work appears all over the Minneapolis and St. Paul, as well as many other cities around the world. According to their website their mission is “to paint giants, as fast as humanly possible.”
